We were discussing about the famous Telugu people list and since we could not easily come up with a single "top-5", we decided to do two top-5 s. Here they are:

1. N.T. RamaRao (No questions asked - the main reason lots of Indians know Telugus are different from Madrasis - Did you see ChakDeIndia)
